Last revised 31 March 2019.

This is the privacy policy of Liftroller AS (“we”). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this privacy policy. You can find our contact information below.

  1. Whose personal data we process

This privacy policy relates to our processing of personal data belonging to the following persons:

  • Our suppliers’, partners’ and customers’ contact persons
  • Visitors to our website
  • Those making enquiries via the contact form on our website
  1. Whom we share personal data with

Our IT services suppliers may have access to personal data if the data is stored by the supplier or is in some other way made accessible to the supplier under their contract with us. Suppliers act in accordance with the data controller agreement they have with us and according to our instructions. Suppliers may only use the personal data for the purposes decided by us and described in this privacy policy.

  1. Storing personal data

Personal data disclosed by users who submit a form on this website will also be stored. Enquiries will be deleted after 1 year.

  1. Your rights

You have certain rights in respect of your personal data. Your exact rights depend on the circumstances in question.

Withdrawing your consent: If you have consented to receiving newsletters from us, you may withdraw your consent at any time. We have made it easy for you to opt out of such communication by including a link to an unsubscribe form in each newsletter. If you have consented to other forms of personal data processing, you may also withdraw your consent by contacting us.

Requesting access: You are entitled to see the personal data we hold on you. To ensure that the personal data is released to the correct person, we may stipulate that you request access in writing or verify your identity in some other way.

Requesting corrections or deletion: You may ask us to correct incorrect data that we hold on you or request that your personal data be deleted. We will do our utmost to accommodate requests for personal data to be deleted, but we may not be able to do so if there are compelling reasons not to delete it, e.g. if we have to store the data for record-keeping reasons.

Data portability: In some cases you will be able to access personal data that you have disclosed to us in a machine-readable format.

If it is technically possible, you may in some instances be able to have this data transferred to another entity.

Complaining to the regulator: You may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you disapprove of the way in which we process your personal data.

  1. Security

We have procedures in place for the secure processing of personal data. These mechanisms are both of a technical and an organisational nature. We regularly assess the security mechanisms in all key systems used to process personal data, and agreements have been entered into that oblige the suppliers of such systems to ensure adequate data security.

Access to personal data is restricted to personnel who need access in order to fulfil their duties. We have adopted internal IT guidelines, and we regularly train staff in security and the use of IT systems.

  1. Changes to the privacy policy

We may make minor changes to this privacy policy. You will always find the latest version on our website. We will notify you of any material changes.
