Hieronymus Heyerdahls gate 1
- Project “HH1”
- Project Type: Office Space – Complete Rehabilitation of Commercial Building
- Size: 13,700 m2
- Contractor: Vedal AS
- Location: Oslo City Center, Norway
- Liftroller System: Liftroller® Wall and Liftroller® Wagon
Close Collaboration with the City Antiquarian
Hieronymus Heyerdalsgate 1 is situated in close proximity to Oslo City Hall, surrounded by narrow streets and adjacent buildings undergoing construction work. Simultaneously, the building remains fully operational with existing tenants inside, presenting a significant challenge. Given the building’s origins dating back to the 1930s, efficient construction site logistics, both inside and outside the building, have been particularly demanding. The façade has been restored, with meticulous removal and replacement of all mortar between the bricks. Utilizing the Liftroller® Wall model was an excellent solution for this project as it doesn’t require any intervention in the façade or ground-level rigging.
-Saved Time and Effort
By employing Liftroller® Wall to transport all materials directly from crane trucks on the street and into the building through windows, the contractor has saved considerable time and effort while ensuring minimal disruption to the building’s occupants.
On this project, the Liftroller system has been used to transport items such as:
- Pallets of plaster
- OSB and steel for partition walls
- Extensive steel structures for reinforcing the existing concrete construction
