Thon’s preferred supplier, Flex Bygg AS, was contracted to expand Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz to incorporate the neighbouring building. The same firm had refurbished the same hotel inside and out only a few years earlier.
The thought of constructing a huge rig to bring in materials and then cutting through the walls was not exactly tempting. So when Flex Bygg discovered the Liftroller it went all the way and ordered a number of them for use on all ongoing projects.
Project manager Odd-Runar Krokli at Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz is in no doubt that it was a good investment. Now they are able to bring in all the materials without compromising the façade.
